Frequently Asked Questions
How do we move forward?
If you are interested in meeting I recommend scheduling one full session, allowing us the chance to talk in-depth about what’s bringing you in and how we might work together.
Do you take insurance?
Yes, I take Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois PPO plans. I also take Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue Choice of Illinois plans. If you have a different insurance provider I can provide a monthly superbill you submit to your carrier for potential out of network reimbursement.
What is your rate?
Without insurance my rate for individual sessions is $165 and for relationship sessions it’s $200. I offer sliding scale on an as needed basis.
For those paying out of pocket, I will provide a Good Faith Estimate. This is a document required by healthcare providers to give you an estimate of the total cost of care for the year if we work together.
When can I meet with you?
Currently, I work Monday- Friday from 9-5. I also provide evening sessions on Wednesday until 8 PM. If our availability aligns, I can typically get sessions scheduled within one week of your inquiry.
Can I see you if I live in another state?
Yes. I am part of psypact. For an updated list of participating states please visit this website: https://psypact.gov/page/psypactmap.
Where will we meet for sessions?
I provide in-person and virtual sessions. In-person sessions will be held in my Lakeview office on Wednesdays and Fridays. Virtual sessions are provided Monday-Friday on a HIPAA compliant platform that you can access via phone or computer in a private space.
